- PBC Kid's Prayer Wall
Children in Action has been learning more about the importance of
prayer. To help the kids acquire more of an understanding of
prayer, we have created a prayer wall. The wall is for
participation of ALL kids at PBC and their concerns. The wall is
located in the green room downstairs by the kitchen. Please take
the time to read and pray for the kid's needs. You will be truly
blessed to see what's on their heart from a child's perspective.
- Spaghetti Sunday

The first Sunday of each month is Spaghetti Sunday. Everyone, please bring jars
of spaghetti sauce and boxes of spaghetti to stock the spaghetti shelf
at the Frankfort Food Pantry.
- Business Meeting

The monthly business meeting of Providence Baptist Church will be
Wednesday, March 7 at 6:30. All members are encouraged to be a part of
the business of our church. Business Meeting is the first Wednesday
after the first Sunday of each month.
- Great Prayer Awakening of 2012
Mondays and Thursdays starting January 8
4:00-8:00 pm
Our church will be starting the New Year off with a brand new Prayer
Initiative. Beginning the week of January 8th, we will begin
something new and exciting to get our entire church involved in praying
specifically for Providence Baptist Church. Here is how it will
work.
Every Monday and Thursday, the church will be open from 4:00 pm until
8:00 pm and there will be a volunteer here to give you a "prayer list"
of specific things to pray for and pray over that week. You can
come and go as you please. We will not be having a "prayer
meeting" but rather a Prayer Initiative. You may want to pray for
10 minutes or you are welcome to stay and pray for an hour as the Holy
Spirit leads.
Each week, we will have a different prayer emphasis. One week we
will be praying for our empty pews to be filled with our friends,
co-workers, community, and lost people. Another week we will be
specifically praying and prayer walking through the Sunday School rooms
and praying for each teacher by name. One week will find us
walking around the exterior of the building asking God to keep a wall of
protection around our facility and our congregation. Each week
will bring a new prayer emphasis and a prayer list will be provided to
help you start your prayer.
I believe this will alter the course of our church and may well be the
catalyst for a Spiritual Awakening here at Providence. Please
begin to pray about your participation in our Great Prayer Awakening of
2012.

- Women of Worth Conference
May 21, 2011
The exciting Women of Worth Conference will be in Shelbyville on May
21st. This year's scheduled featured guests are awesome and you
won't want to miss it. The deadline to get the low registration
fee of $15 per person is March 5. Details will be provided soon,
but register at the Welcome Center ASAP to get the discount.
Registration after March 5 by May 11 will be $20. After May 11,

June 25-29, 2012
The dates for VBS at Providence will be June 25-29. Mark your
calendar! See Jennifer Baker or Missy Rayborn to volunteer.
